Start your Free 7-Day Trial of my Executive Development Community for Tech Leaders: https://link.drewsaur.com/trial ————————————————————— I started my technology career like many other people. I had deep technical skills, a strong work ethic, and delivered everything that was asked of me. After 10 years of steady promotions, I was a Senior Director, ready for my first executive role. And then, for the first time in my career, I didn’t get the promotion. I asked dozens of people for advice, but only got vague answers like “give it more time” or “keep building your executive presence”. Since no one could tell me, I had to figure it out myself. I studied the executives and began to see the differences in what they did, how they approached things, and what they said. And then it clicked. There is a whole different set of rules I needed to follow to get promoted and thrive as an executive. To succeed, I needed to transform myself. As soon as I made this transformation, I got my executive promotion and then continued to advance. I spent the next decade studying why some people got promoted and others didn’t. I sat on hiring committees and promotion boards. With what I learned, I coached my own team through their transformations and promotions to the executive level. In 2020, I decided this was my purpose, and founded Drew Saur Coaching to help Tech Directors and VPs learn the strategies, tools, and tactics to make that transformation and land their next-level executive role. My mission is to help as many Tech Leaders as I can land bigger and better roles so they can experience the fulfillment and compensation that come with it. ————————————————————— WHAT CLIENTS SAY (Video Testimonials In My Featured Section) "When I was at a crossroads in my career, Drew gave me great guidance about my strengths and the direction I should go.

A heart for people and a mind for systems. I build structures that turn chaos into clarity — and I do it with candor, curiosity, and just enough humor to keep things human. Over the last 10+ years, I’ve trained sales teams, designed enablement playbooks, and built data workflows that help businesses scale with confidence. At SalesLeap, I built HubSpot workflows and outbound strategies that lifted reply rates by 34% and fueled 200–400% client growth. At Gravitate, I reworked LinkedIn and email cadences for 500+ companies monthly and doubled reply rates. Beyond sales enablement, I’ve run operations at Doomsday Brewing, where I cut onboarding time by 40%, authored SOPs, and grew a community 5× in one year. At American Income Life, I conducted 30+ client meetings weekly, closed at a 45% rate, and recruited and trained new agents. I’m fluent in Spanish, obsessed with clean spreadsheets, and known for saying the hard thing kindly. Whether I’m building dashboards, leading training, or just keeping data accurate, I bring rigor, clarity, and levity to every project. Colleagues describe me as fearless, reliable, and fun to work with — someone who will raise the tough question, fix the process, and still make you laugh along the way.

For over a decade, I’ve combined my mentorship, recruitment and project management skills to support mission-driven organizations and the people who make those organizations thrive. I cut my teeth running campaign offices for the Fund for the Public Interest before moving into recruitment directing roles. With the Outreach Team, I had the opportunity to scale and manage large recruitment efforts across key battleground states. While I enjoy the challenge of project managing large-scale recruitment initiatives, the heart of what I love to do is connect talented people with great organizations to make the world a better and more just place. My work with NRG Consulting as a lead recruiter and career coach has allowed me to return to the work that I love. My approach to career coaching meets individual candidates where they are in the job search process. I offer both technical support to candidates, as well as thought partnership and accountability. The job search process can be lonely and having a partner in the search can make a huge difference. I strive to offer services that are accessible to a wide range of people who need support from early career professionals to executive leaders.

I love working with people to help them find meaningful, purposeful, and satisfying work. One of the most important considerations to that end is to identify what people are naturally good at, their talents, and find ways for them to harness those talents. I also help individuals explore their interests, skills, and values as they relate to career choice to ensure they find a good career "fit". I also enjoy assisting with the more practical (and sometimes overwhelming and intimidating) aspects of the job search including resume writing, LinkedIn profile creation, and interviewing skills. In addition to my work as a career coach, I've been teaching yoga for over 15 years and love incorporating the many gifts of the hatha yoga tradition into my life and work.
