I love helping my clients to realise a rewarding and meaningful career, through clarity of purpose and connection to people and opportunities. A Masters qualified career counsellor, meaningful life-work coach and career transition coach with over 19 years' experience, I'm inspired to help people navigate their career in times of change and challenge. I founded Career Wisdom to work with people wanting more than just money from their career - making a contribution or positive impact in the world, or "making a difference" as my clients often express it. From starting out in private practice plus serving a broad range of clients in a community career drop-in centre, I’ve since worked with professional rugby players, young adults with cancer, ballet dancers, managers and executives in transition due to redundancy. I enjoy working with peak performers. In 2019 I was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to investigate career services for adults with cancer and now offer partial scholarships for those wanting to explore their 'what's next?'. I am a Fellow of Leadership Western Australia, registered as a Professional Career Development Practitioner with the Career Industry Council of Australia and Professional Member of the Career Development Association of Australia. I currently provide career services for the Australian Institute of Sport's Career Practitioner and Referral Network and as a presenter for specialist transition and leadership programs for elite athletes and former athletes. I'm the author of "Make Your Move: Career Dynamics in Changing Times". Born in Scotland, I attended seven schools in two countries and have held many "Connector" roles across the non-profit and corporate sectors. I love helping my clients learn to connect and contribute with my diverse network. Importantly, I love my work - and that is my hope for those I work with too! I’m a high-energy training facilitator and coach specialising in communication, cultural uplift, and sales performance. With more than 15 years’ experience developing people capability, I help individuals and teams elevate their skills so businesses perform at their absolute best. I began my career in engineering before moving through a series of sales and leadership roles of increasing scope within a major global organisation. Over time, I realised my true calling was enabling people — not products — to reach their potential. When people grow, communication sharpens, productivity lifts, and sales follow. That clarity led me into culture building, sales training, and career coaching, where I deliver my greatest impact. I’ve partnered with organisations across the entire size spectrum — from fast-growing founder-led businesses through to major Australian enterprises and global Fortune-level corporations. Regardless of industry or scale, my mission remains the same: "Inspiring people, culture, and sales growth by enabling peak performance in the vital few things that matter most" I look forward to helping you elevate capability and drive stronger business performance.

You've built a successful career. Good salary, respected role, real responsibilities. And yet Sunday afternoons have started to feel heavy. You're good at your job — you're just not sure you love it anymore. You're not alone in this. And it's more fixable than you think.I know this feeling from both sides. As a kid I watched my parents disappear into work they didn't seem to enjoy. They were busy, unavailable, and I still didn't get to play with them. Work took them from me and didn't even seem to give them anything in return. In my late twenties I had everything conventional success is supposed to look like. And I was getting divorced and quietly falling apart. What shifted wasn't a better plan or a smarter strategy. It was the moment I stopped treating my emotions like background noise and started treating them like information. Like a rudder. Your feelings aren't the problem — they're the compass pointing back to what actually matters to you. Back to what makes you feel alive, connected, and genuinely happy. That realisation became my life's work. For nearly two decades I've been coaching senior professionals — through my own practice and through employee assistance and outplacement programmes — helping 40 and 50-somethings who are successful on paper but quietly disconnected from any real sense of fulfilment at work. The shift my clients describe is consistent.Clarity on what actually matters to them and what they want — often for the first time in years. A perspective change that transforms how work and life feel. Structure and confidence to go and get it. And then actually getting it, and being happy. Not a vague, distant kind of happy. The real kind. The kind that makes Monday morning feel different. This work goes deeper than career strategy. It's not about finding a new job or negotiating a better title. It's about understanding yourself well enough to build a working life that genuinely fits who you are — and feels like it.Your head is useful. But it's overrated as
