Bryan Yackulic
Durham, North Carolina, United States
I'm a Professional Development and Career Coach and faculty member with Honors Carolina at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). In my roles I guide students in finding a fulfilling college experience and career path. This includes helping them build their network, create an effective resume, find opportunities, and address the question—“What do I want to do with my life?!” As a UNC faculty member, I help create and teach courses for the University’s honors program to help students make the most of their college experience and equip them with the career readiness skills needed to find internships and market themselves effectively. For my leadership building alumni connections and opportunities for students, I was awarded the 2025 PeopleGrove Administrator of the Year from over 500 schools and 750 programs. In addition, I was 1 of 57 faculty recognized for excellence in teaching, mentorship, and dedication to student success by the Morehead-Cain Foundation. Prior to joining UNC, I was the Assistant Director of the Chartered Leadership Fellow (CLF ) program and an Adjunct Professor of Management at The American College, with a research interest in cross-generational leadership. I have presented to organizations across the country and consulted with leaders to improve their strategic direction of recruitment and retention of younger employees. I have a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from Wilmington University, a Masters of Science in Management (MSM) degree from The American College, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from James Madison University (Go Dukes!). I have been featured in many popular press outlets such as Forbes, and you can view my TEDx talk “The Next Worst Generation” on YouTube.
