I have an uncommon expanse of skills gleaned from working in education, counselling and Human Resources for over 30 years. In my last role, I was a trusted advisor to Chief Human Resource Officers. I spent many years leading Human Resources and Talent Development practices within multi-national organizations. Having worked and lived in the United States, I also brings my personal experience of transnational living into my work. I possess a Master’s Degree in Counselling, a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I am also a member of the Singapore Association for Counselling, a Master Practitioner Solution-Focused Coach and was accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I trained as a Clinical Supervisor of Career Development Practitioners and am a certified Career Development Facilitator. Following a voluntary departure from a successful corporate career, I am now enjoying meaningful work supporting others to reach their highest potential in the latter half of my career. As Associate Director & Lead Career Coach at NTU’s Career & Attachment Office (CAO) for the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB), I empower STEM students through 1:1 coaching, small-group clinics, and collaborations with faculty and student leaders. In addition, I drive special projects in data reporting, system innovation, and new initiatives, strengthening CAO’s internal processes and enhancing student employability. During my secondment at NUS Agility Office, I actively co-lead two projects - the uNivUS app and Future of Work initiatives - while making substantial contributions to the Next Generation Student Information System project. These efforts focus on driving transformative changes aligned with the University's strategic objectives. Prior to my secondment, I've actively initiated and fostered long-term partnership with companies in the Banking, Consulting, Education and Non-Profit industry sectors, in coordination with overall business development strategy of NUS Business School BIZCareers. I've also provided career coaching and training to the students on career planning and job search strategies as a Career Advisor. Previously, I was the Coaching Division Manager at Executive Coach International. I've managed and coached internal teams and Associate Trainers/Coaches (up to 22 people) for over three years. I've also trained groups of 15 trainees, from Directors, Middle Management, Senior Executives, Consultants to Business Mentors, in two ICF Accredited Coach Training modules - Fundamentals of Coaching and Performance Coaching. Coaching since 2010, I am a Professional Certified Coach recognised by the International Coaching Federation.
