Amy Briggs

My mission is to help clients uncover their true goals, create a plan of action, and support them throughout to find the best job, career, environment possible for their unique path to fulfilling work. I provide clients with: Direction, Insight, Support, Strategies, Accountability and a Sounding Board. With more than two decades of experience, I work extensively with clients in the legal field but also with college/grad school students and other professionals who would benefit from working with a career coach. I combine my counseling training and professional experience to help clients in all aspects of career exploration, job search and career success. During my time as Director of Recruiting at an AmLaw 50 firm, I managed recruiting, hiring, and the summer associate program. As such, I was privy to the inner workings of the firm and what led to interviewing success as well as lawyer success in the BigLaw world. As Director of Law Career Development at two DC law schools, I helped law students and lawyers navigate every phase of career development, from exploring options to negotiating salary to creating a path to success. Working at the law schools provided a great deal of insight into the business of law schools and the impact that has on how they recruit, what they teach and how they support alumni.
