OCTOBER 2018 – JULY 2019 ( Contract Provider change) CAREER COACH, WORKFORCE ESSENTIALS INC. Career Coach is responsible for servicing adults, Dislocated Workers and youth through the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) program. Career Coach has boosted enrollments beginning the day she started. Title I Services include eligibility verification, case management, assessment and progress monitoring. Career Coach will also coordinate supportive services and provide follow-up services to ensure that necessary supports are in place. The goal for customers served is employment at or above the self-sufficiency wage with job retention tracked for at least one year after exiting the program. Other duties preformed include providing meaningful assistance to the clients coming in filing unemployment on the state website, outreach to employment services to have job fairs, hair follicle drug testing, urinalysis drug testing, & Breath Alcohol testing.
