Isabel Tweraser

Hi there! I'm a Senior Career Coach providing services to UT Austin students in the College of Natural Sciences and specializing in computer science, math, and data science. In my role, I provide technical recruiting expertise, supervise a full-time employee, and manage our peer career coach program. I'm passionate about supporting and empowering students of all identities as they work towards meaningful careers. Additionally, I am the current president of the Texas Campus Career Council, where I am building cross-campus collaboration between career services professionals. I have over five years of cumulative experience working in higher education. Previously, I worked in UT's College of Fine Arts as the Career Services Manager. Prior to my work at UT, I earned my MM in music theory at Florida State University, where I served as an instructor of music theory, music technology, and aural skills. I also hold a BA in music and a BS in computer science from Southwestern University, where I gained three years of experience working in the Center for Career and Professional Development. Outside of work, I am an active freelance cellist in the central Texas region! I regularly play weddings, musicals, and with the Austin Civic Orchestra.
