I am a part time Ph.D student, researching the motivations and social significance of women's philanthropy in the boot and shoe industry in Northampton in the nineteenth and early twentieth century. I have an MA in History from the Open University where her thesis was on the developments of the bus industry in Northampton 1920-1950. I also a BA (Hons) in Music Practice and a PGCE in the Lifelong Learner Sector from University of Northampton and was a former music tutor at Northampton College. I also have a number of years experience as a legal secretary working for many prominent law firms around Northampton.
