Jackie Smith

I offer deep expertise in Organisational Development, Leadership Development, Change Management and Executive/Career Coaching. As a consultant, coach, and facilitator, I’m known for bringing insight and challenge with empathy, and for translating complexity into practical action. My practice is grounded in authenticity, trust and collaboration. I work with leaders to uncover the unconscious patterns and beliefs that limit potential, and to build the awareness, accountability and skills needed to lead themselves and others through uncertainty and growth. Early in my career, I was part of a project team responsible for large-scale transformational change in the banking and finance sector. The focus was on process re-engineering, restructuring, downsizing and implementing new systems and procedures. What felt like a dehumanising approach and a never ending cycle of change sparked a genuine curiosity to better understand the true impact of change on people and organisational systems. I went on to complete a Master in Organisational Dynamics and Leadership, where I explored systems thinking, chaos theory, adaptive leadership, and how best to support leaders to lead in complexity. At the time it was an eye opening experience to recognise how much happens beneath the surface that can block change, growth and performance potential. I now view organisations, systems and relationships through a different lens, with an ability to uncover the dynamics that drive behaviour and shape culture - both positively and negatively. Today, I specialise in the human side of change, partnering with organisations to design and deliver strategies, programs and experiences that drive cultural transformation, enhance leadership capability, and build alignment across values, mindset and behaviour - for individuals and teams.
