How do we build the bridge between industry and the next generation of creative talent? That's the question that drives me every day as Manager, Industry Engagement & Career Coach at University of the Arts Singapore (UAS) - Singapore's first arts university formed by the alliance of LASALLE College of the Arts and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). I create strategic partnerships between organizations and our student talents through internships, creative projects, career fairs, industry panel discussions and portfolio clinics. Whether you're in finance, tech, luxury retail, or hospitality - your brand needs storytelling, design thinking, and creative problem-solving to stay competitive. My approach goes beyond connections - it's about coaching students to be industry-ready and helping organizations recognize raw creative potential. This passion extends to my volunteer work with Fashion for A Social Cause, where I coach youths with special needs and individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds to discover their potential through fashion and creativity. My prior experience with CHANEL's Talent Acquisition team taught me what world-class brands need: talent that delivers both creativity and commercial impact.
