I have been privileged to coach Kellogg students and alums for over 25 years who have a broad range of career interests, educational and cultural backgrounds, and work experience. My role as a coach has been to provide strategic guidance through career discovery, self reflection, goal setting, networking, interview prep and more. At Kellogg I have worked with students across all industries including consulting, general management, healthcare and operations. A specific focus has been on international students and alums and the issues that shape their searches. I can't imagine a more rewarding role than acting as a resource and advisor to job seekers. Cooking, exercising, Great Danes and grandchildren are what I do for fun.

I was born and raised in Alabama. I chose to attend The University of North Alabama where I obtained both a Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Education, Family and Consumer Sciences. I returned to UNA to obtain a Master’s Degree in Sociology and Family Studies. I have worked as an educator for six and a half years and have now transitioned to working as a career coach. As a career coach I can assist students and teachers with career exploration, jobs, college, scholarships, job shadowing, FAFSA, internships, interview skills, resumes and more. I will be working with all Tuscumbia City Schools in order to provide age-appropriate career information to all students. My job is to help students transition from school to the workforce whether that be through a college program, military service, trade school, or going straight into a career.

I've been a Career Services / Career Strategy and Interview Coach, plus Resume Writer, for more than 10 years, backed by an invaluable 15+ year background in media, PR & communications. I understand the guiding light of this noble work because I'm a career changer myself. I know the intricacies, emotions and practical concerns involved in shifting gears and possibly upending plans that once appeared set in stone. My expertise is in meeting people where they are - and helping them reach where they want to venture. I support recent grads, mid-level professionals, senior leaders and executives, including C-suite talent. While I effect change with people from all walks of life, I am especially attuned to the dynamics affecting parents, professionals of color, first-generation graduates, those with criminal justice involvement, individuals without a college degree, differently abled persons, "trailing spouses," and those over the age of 40. I have a heart for people who are navigating the 21st century workplace and job market. This is evident in the human-centered projects I've championed and supported, touching topics like employee engagement, succession planning, inclusion, career pathing, the future of work, work-life blend, wellness, recruitment and more. SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS * Created 6,000+ career marketing materials for candidates and job seekers, from newcomers and mid-level managers to career changers and executive retirees. * Aided major corporation in initial discovery process for inclusion strategy, conducting research, evaluating firms and presenting before senior management up to CEO. * Deployed multiple employee and internal communications projects focused on morale, recognition, information sharing and sentiment. * Involved in focus groups, holding sessions to refine employee onboarding process and experience. * Outplacement experience with leading career transition providers Keystone Partners, Impact Group, Right Management and LHH. 4/28 Live Workshop Signup here: https://app.heartbeat.chat/saassavvy/events/898102 Most SCs think they have a skills problem. What they actually have is a leverage problem. They show up in deals. They do what's asked. But they aren't seen as strategic. They aren't known across the org. And they aren't in control of what comes next. I help Solutions Consultants flip that script. I was ranked top 5 globally at Zendesk, closed EMEA's largest fintech deal, then left to build what was missing: programs teaching technical fluency to GTM professionals who need to sell with credibility - not just charisma. As Zendesk's first UK Fintech SC, I led complex enterprise deals with Tier 1 banks. But what actually accelerated my career wasn't just execution - it was everything I built *around* the job. Internal programs. Cross-functional projects. Work that made me visible to leadership and created roles around what I was already doing. I left Zendesk to found SaaS Savvy. I started by building a technical fluency curriculum for non-technical GTM professionals - teaching the APIs, infrastructure, and AI needed to sell with credibility. But I realized technical depth is only one piece. Today, I coach SCs from companies like Salesforce, ServiceNow, and SAP on what I call the Presales Trifecta - the three pillars of real career leverage: Technical Fluency - so you sound credible in every room, without code Presales Craft - so you're seen as a trusted advisor, not a demo monkey Professional Brand - so you become undeniable in your org and in the market Whether through 1:1 career leverage coaching or my Full-Stack Fluency course, I help mid-to-senior SCs build the leverage that makes them un-layoffable in the AI era.
