Adult-onset visual challenges, unexpected young widowhood and sudden solo parenting, then most recently, receiving the life-changing diagnosis of a rare autoimmune disorder have changed my life, my perspective, and my priorities. Travel has been my go-to throughout my stress, grief, and growth. I have leaned into travel to escape, to refocus, to grow, to deal and to heal. The unfolding of my life has led me to visit all 50 states, 16 countries, and 4 continents so far!
