💳 Six and Twelve Months Are Now Single Payments

The longer plans used to be subscriptions, which meant signing up for something that would quietly renew long after your search had ended. That was never the right shape for a product people use hard for three months and then hopefully never need again.

They are now bought outright. One charge, a fixed amount of access, and no recurring anything:

• 7 days for €12.99, the new pass above.
• 6 months for €139.90, paid once.
• 12 months for €199, paid once. That works out at about €16.58 a month, and it is still not a subscription.

Monthly is the only plan that still renews, which is the one case where renewing is the point. Everything else you buy, use and forget about. If you are already on a longer subscription, nothing changes for you until it ends.

🏢 Two Thousand Companies

The interview library passed 2,000 companies this week, with 105,000+ real questions across 23 industries and 18 roles. It grows because people tell us which company they are interviewing at next, so if yours is missing, ask for it and it goes in the queue.

📊 How Your Applications End

You have been feeding the tracker for months. It has never once told you what it learned. That changes now: your closed applications get read back to you as a pattern instead of a list.

• Where they end. Applied, interviewed, offers, and which stage most of yours actually stop at. If you are losing everything at the first screen, that is a different problem from losing at the final round, and you should not have to guess which one you have.
• How long an answer takes. Your median, from your own dated applications. Plus the number who said nothing at all, and the number who sent a form letter that says nothing about you. Both are worth naming, because both feel like your fault and neither is.
• How many postings were pulled while you waited. Not silence, not rejection. The role stopped existing and nobody wrote to tell you.
• Did our own fit score predict anything? Your results, split by what we scored the job before you applied. If there is no relationship, it says so in those words. We would rather show you that than quietly grade our own homework.

All of it is counted from your own tracker, and nothing is presented as a reason an employer gave unless they are actually quoted. Paste a rejection letter into a job’s Application tab and Pro will read across them for themes; the counts are yours either way.

🤝 Warm Intros, Written For You

Asking someone to introduce you is the highest-yield move in networking and the one everybody puts off, because the message is genuinely awkward to write. So we write it.

Pick who can make the introduction, pick who you want to reach, and the request is drafted from what we already know about both. It asks for advice and an introduction, never a job, which is the version people actually say yes to.

The interview library topped out below the executive floor. It now covers CFO, COO, CTO, CMO, CRO, CHRO and general executive roles, taking it to 18 roles across 1,960+ companies.

Every question in the library is also tagged by framework now, so you can filter a company’s bank down to the kind of question you came for instead of scrolling the whole thing.

🎨 A New Look

New typeface, warmer neutrals, a palette that finally behaves the same everywhere, and proper dark surfaces. Mostly you should not notice it, which is the point. If something reads worse than it did last week, tell us, because that is a bug and not a taste difference.

👻 Ghost Job Detector

Around one in five job postings is never filled. You have felt this: the role that stays up for four months, the application that vanishes, the recruiter who never had a seat to fill. Until now you had no way to tell those apart from a real vacancy before spending an hour on the application.

Paste a job link or the description and we check it. Where we can, we go and read the employer’s own careers board to see whether the role is actually still listed there. Then we show you every signal that fired, with the exact words that triggered it, and score it low, elevated or high risk. Free, no sign-up.

Three things we were careful about, because this is the kind of tool that is easy to do badly:

• It never calls an employer dishonest. It reports patterns and risk signals, never a verdict on a company. Plenty of postings sit in a grey area that has nothing to do with bad faith.
• It tells you what it could not check. Every result ends with the checks that did not run, and each one is something you can do by hand in under a minute. A confident answer built on evidence we never gathered would be worse than no answer.
• A low score is not a promise. It means the posting reads like a real vacancy and does not match the pattern ghost postings make. That is our reading of the evidence we could reach, and we say so rather than pretending to certainty we do not have.

🔔 We Now Notice When a Posting Comes Down

The same machinery watches the jobs already in your tracker. If a posting disappears from the employer’s board, or quietly gets reposted, you hear about it. A posting that silently goes away is the single most useful thing anyone can tell you while you are still waiting to hear back, and nothing else in your job search can see it.

The wording changes depending on where you are. If you have not interviewed yet, a pulled posting is worth acting on. If you are already several rounds in, it usually just means they have their shortlist, so we say that instead of alarming you.

All eleven role interview guides now carry a video walkthrough. Reading about how a product management or investment banking loop runs is fine. Watching someone explain it is better.

⚡ The App Got Faster

Less staring at spinners. Returning to the app used to wait on a full round trip before anything could appear, even when we already knew who you were. Now the page paints immediately and checks in the background. We also found a megabyte of interview data being shipped to your browser on pages that only needed a single company name from it, and stopped doing that.

📚 Back Over 100,000 Questions

1,916 companies, 101,091 real interview questions, 23 industries. We passed 100,000 in early August, then deliberately went backwards: a cleanup pass removed duplicates and generic filler that padded the count without helping anyone. This time the number is honest, and every question behind it is one we can actually show you.

🔧 Fixes Worth Naming

• Agency jobs with no named employer can be saved. If a recruiter will not say who the client is, the Save button used to sit there refusing to be clicked, with nothing explaining why. It works now.
• A CV uploaded before signup could end up unreadable. Rare, and thoroughly fixed. If it ever happened to you, re-upload and it will behave.

🎙️ First CV: Start With Nothing

Almost everything in JobMentis has needed one thing first: a CV. Which is a problem if you do not have one, or the one you have is eight years old and you cannot face opening it.

First CV removes that step. Three ways in, and you pick whichever sounds least painful:

• Talk it through. Answer a few questions out loud, about 8 minutes. We listen, structure it, and write the CV for you. Easier than staring at a blank page, and most people say more out loud than they ever type.
• Paste anything. Your LinkedIn profile, an old bio, rough notes. Messy is fine, we sort out the structure. About 2 minutes, free.
• Upload what you have. Already got a CV? Same as before, free.

However you do it, the result becomes your master CV and unlocks the rest of the product. Uploading and pasting stay free, because charging for the only way in would mean gating the product behind the product. The voice version is a small one-off pass.

🏢 What the Employer Says, in Their Own Words

Company pages now link to the employer’s own hiring guide where they publish one, alongside what it says about their interview rounds. Everything else on that page is our read of how a company hires. This part is theirs, and when Amazon or Spotify or Adyen write down how they interview, that is worth more than anything we could model. We would rather point you at it than pretend it does not exist.

🤖 The Concierge Can Point, Not Just Talk

The assistant on our homepage could describe things but never take you there. It can now link you straight to the right page, and it is restricted to pages that genuinely exist, so it cannot confidently send you to a 404. It also recovers now if a conversation fails to start, instead of sitting there looking broken.

📚 The Interview Library Keeps Growing

Now 1,880+ companies and close to 100,000 real interview questions across 23 industries. We also spent part of this month deleting: duplicate and generic questions came out, so the number moved less than the work did. We would rather the library be smaller and true than bigger and padded.

🤝 If You Coach on JobMentis

This part is invisible to most of you, and it is where a lot of our recent work has gone. If you run your practice on JobMentis, your setup got considerably less manual:

• Task packs. Build a list of tasks once, then hand the whole thing to a client in one action instead of typing them out after every session.
• Packs on a schedule. Attach packs to a program and say when each one lands: two weeks in, six weeks in, on a Monday. Your clients get the next thing at the right time without you remembering. Someone already past that point can be caught up too, or not, your call.
• Cohorts. Invite a group in one go, onto one program, sharing one start date. They move through it together instead of drifting apart.
• Duplicate anything. Programs, task packs, questionnaires and tracks all copy with everything attached, and land as a draft so nothing goes live by accident.
• Your public listing. Our coach directory is open, and you can claim your profile, verify it and edit it yourself: photo, languages, how much of your bio shows. Not listed? You can add yourself.

All of it is written up in the coach manual, and more is coming over the next few weeks.

A note on what we are building right now. Much of this release, and much of what lands over the next few weeks, is not a headline feature. It is the quieter work: making the product faster and calmer to use, and deepening the tools that connect coaches and the people they coach. Some of that you will never see, because it only shows up if you work with a coach. We think it is the most valuable thing we can build at this stage, so we would rather tell you plainly than pad the list.

That said, there is plenty visible today.

✍️ Those Awkward Application Questions, Answered PRO

“Why do you want to work here?” “Describe a time you handled conflict.” “What would you do in your first 90 days?” Every application form has them, and they are where most people stall.

Paste the question into any saved job and get a drafted answer built from your actual profile: your real experience, your stories, your Workfive Workplace DNA. Not a generic template with your name pasted in.

• It remembers. Every answer you write becomes part of your Career Memory, so your next cover letter is written by a system that has already read how you talk about yourself.

Career Memory is the shared memory every JobMentis tool reads from, so you never explain yourself twice. It just gained its 15th block: your application answers. The pattern holds: the more you use the product, the more it knows, and the better everything else it writes for you becomes.

🛂 Salary Meets Visa: Migration Corridors

If you are thinking about moving country for work, you have probably hit the same wall we did: one site tells you the salary, another tells you the visa threshold, and nobody puts the two together. So we did.

Every salary page now has a “moving there as a...” companion covering Canada, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore and the UK. You see what the role pays, what the skilled-migration route actually requires, and whether the two meet.

• Every threshold is hand-checked against the government source, with the link and the date we verified it. We do not let AI anywhere near these numbers: a wrong visa figure is not a typo, it is a wasted year.
• Including the bad news. Routes that have closed, occupation lists that exclude your trade. The sites that make money on visa leads will not tell you that. Free, no account needed.

🗂️ Two New Directories: Coaches and Recruiting Agencies

Two open directories, both free and both built to answer a question the rest of the internet is oddly quiet about.

• The Coach Directory. Career coaches you can browse by country, specialty and industry, in several languages. Coaches can claim and manage their own listing, or add themselves if they are not in it yet.
• The Agency Directory. Recruiting agencies, what they specialise in, and where they operate, plus plain-English guides on how the industry actually works. Start with “who do recruiters work for?”, because the answer is not you, and knowing that changes how you handle the call.

💱 Prices in Your Own Currency

Prices now display in euros, dollars or pounds depending on where you are, instead of making you do the conversion in your head. Same product, same value, shown in the money you actually think in.

🎬 Short Videos, at the Right Moment

JobMentis is a big product, and “where do I even start” is a fair reaction. Your Action Center now surfaces short videos in your own language, picked based on what you have actually done so far rather than a fixed tour. Watch them or ignore them: once you have seen them, they stop appearing.

🧭 Guided Paths Are Now “Tracks”

Same guided journeys, clearer name. A Track is a sequence of steps toward one objective: beat the ATS, ace the interview, pivot your career. Nothing about your progress changes, and if you own one, it is exactly where you left it.

🤝 For Coaches and Their Clients

This is the part most of you will not see, and it is where a lot of our energy is going.

If you work with a career coach on JobMentis, the two of you now share more of the same picture: your coach can set goals with you, follow your progress between sessions, and leave notes exactly where the work happens instead of in a separate document you both forget to open. Coaches can shape what their clients see, so the product arrives feeling like their practice rather than a generic tool. Expect more here over the coming weeks.

• One target company? The classic Targeted path: everything we know about that specific employer, sharpened.
