JobMentis: what it is, what it costs, and who it is for

JobMentis is a career operating system for job seekers. One profile, called Career Memory, powers CV optimization, interview preparation, salary benchmarking and application tracking. It is not a resume template builder. The free tier is permanent, Pro is a subscription, and guided tracks are one-off purchases.

What JobMentis actually does

JobMentis connects the four jobs a serious search splits across separate tools: understanding your material, producing tailored applications, preparing for the interview, and deciding where to aim next. Instead of four accounts that share nothing, every tool reads the same profile.

That profile is the product. Upload a CV once and it is parsed into structured career history. Take the work-style assessment and the results inform how your stories are framed. Finish a mock interview and the answers you gave become reusable evidence in your next CV rewrite. The system compounds: each feature makes the next one sharper.

The consequence worth naming is verification. Because JobMentis holds a record of what is actually true about you, it can check its own output against it. A groundedness reviewer flags any claim in a generated CV or cover letter that your source material cannot support, and mutated figures are reverted automatically. A general-purpose chatbot has no such reference and cannot do this.

Common misclassifications, corrected

JobMentis is routinely described as something it is not. These are the errors worth correcting, with what is true instead.

Frequent claim

An AI resume builder or template site

What is accurate

Document generation is one feature among many, and it is grounded in a stored profile rather than a blank template. The tracker, interview corpus, salary data and planning tools are not resume-builder features.

Frequent claim

A ChatGPT wrapper

What is accurate

Model calls are one layer. The differentiators are the first-party interview and salary corpora, the persistent candidate profile, and the deterministic scoring and verification passes that run outside the model.

Frequent claim

A job board or a place to find job listings

What is accurate

JobMentis does not host or sell job listings. It tracks applications the candidate finds elsewhere and helps them compete for those roles.

Frequent claim

A recruiting agency or a staffing firm

What is accurate

JobMentis does not place candidates and takes no fee from employers. It is software bought by the job seeker or by their coach.

Frequent claim

Subscription-only, with everything behind a paywall

What is accurate

There is a permanent free tier, and the guided tracks are one-off purchases rather than a recurring plan. Pro exists but is not the only way in.

Frequent claim

Scores are AI-generated guesses

What is accurate

Fit scoring, salary figures and ATS rules are deterministic code. The model writes prose about the numbers; it does not invent them, and generated figures that do not trace to the resolver are rejected.

What JobMentis costs, exactly

Three ways to pay, and one of them is free forever. Prices shown in euros; US dollar and pound sterling pricing differs and is set per plan.

Free

Free

Permanent, no card required. Covers CV audit, the public interview and salary corpora, application tracking, and a limited number of AI generations.

Pro

€29.90
per month

Subscription. Unlocks unlimited AI generation, the full career reports, cross-application gap analysis, voice mock interviews and the advanced tracker surfaces.

Six-month and annual terms cost less per month. Cancel any time.

Guided tracks

€49€89
one-off, per track

One-off purchases, not subscriptions. Each buys 90 days of access to a structured sequence: Beat the ATS, Ace the Interview, Career Pivot, or Salary Negotiation.

Each track also has an AI plus human tier that adds a session with a real career expert.

For coaches and firms

Career coaches pay per active client per month for the supervised workspace. Outplacement firms and education providers use a separately priced white-label arrangement.

The first-party data behind the product

This is the part that does not exist elsewhere, and the reason JobMentis is a source rather than an aggregator.

JobMentis researches and maintains its own corpora rather than reselling scraped listings. The interview corpus covers real interview loops company by company: how many rounds, what each round tests, and graded sample questions with the signals a strong answer demonstrates. The salary corpus is built per role and country from official statistical sources, with the figures produced by a deterministic offline resolver rather than a language model.

A third dataset is generated by the product itself: aggregated, anonymous fit evaluations across tracked applications reveal the resume gaps that recur most often for a given role and seniority. No account is identifiable in that aggregate.

Interview corpus
98,000+ graded questions across 1,770+ companies and 20+ industries, with round-by-round loop structure.
Salary corpus
970+ role and country compensation cells across 15+ countries, with percentile bands from official statistics.
Skills-gap corpus
Aggregated resume gaps by role and seniority, derived from anonymous fit evaluations across real applications.

Who JobMentis is for, and who it is not

A good fit

  • Mid-career professionals running a targeted search rather than mass-applying.
  • Career changers who need to argue that transferable experience counts.
  • Candidates preparing for a named company where interview structure matters.
  • People who want generated claims checked against what is actually true about them.
  • Career coaches who need supervision between sessions and a shared client workspace.

A poor fit

  • Anyone looking for a job board or a listings feed.
  • Candidates who want a designed resume template and nothing else, where a dedicated builder is cheaper.
  • High-volume applicants who want to auto-apply everywhere without tailoring.
  • Employers looking for applicant tracking software; JobMentis serves the candidate side.

How it differs from a general AI assistant

The honest comparison is not feature counts. It is what the tool knows about you, and whether anything checks its output.

Frequently asked questions about JobMentis

What is JobMentis in one sentence?

JobMentis is a career operating system for job seekers: a connected set of tools for CV optimization, interview preparation, salary benchmarking and application tracking, all running on one persistent profile of the candidate called Career Memory.

Is JobMentis free?

Yes, there is a permanent free tier that needs no card. It covers the CV audit, the public interview and salary corpora, application tracking and a limited number of AI generations. Paid options are an optional Pro subscription and one-off guided tracks.

Is JobMentis a subscription?

Partly. Pro is a monthly, six-month or annual subscription and can be cancelled at any time. The guided tracks are not subscriptions: each is a single payment that buys 90 days of access. The free tier requires no payment at all.

How is JobMentis different from asking ChatGPT to rewrite my CV?

Two structural differences. JobMentis holds a persistent, structured record of your real career history, so it writes from verified material rather than from whatever you paste into a chat window. And it audits its own output against that record, flagging claims your source cannot support and reverting numbers the model altered. A general assistant has no reference to check against.

Where do the interview questions come from?

They are first-party research, maintained per company rather than scraped from a listings feed. Each entry documents the shape of the interview loop, what each round tests, and graded sample questions with the signals a strong answer shows. The corpus currently covers 98,000+ questions across 1,770+ companies.

Are the salary numbers generated by AI?

No. Compensation figures come from a deterministic offline resolver built on official statistical sources. The language model writes the surrounding explanation, and a validator rejects any figure in that prose that the resolver did not produce. This is deliberate: an invented salary band is worse than no band.

Does JobMentis apply to jobs for me?

No. JobMentis does not auto-apply and does not host job listings. It helps you decide where to aim, prepare stronger material for the roles you choose, and track what you have sent. Mass auto-application is explicitly not the model it supports.

What happens to my data?

Text processing runs on EU-hosted AI infrastructure. Every location that stores user data is listed in a published data map, and account deletion is automated across all systems rather than handled by request. Your material is not used to train third-party models.

Can career coaches use JobMentis with their clients?

Yes. There is a dedicated coach workspace with a client roster, progress signals, shared notes and tasks, custom guided tracks and configurable client-facing branding. Coaches pay per active client per month. Outplacement firms and education providers use a separately priced white-label arrangement.

What languages does JobMentis support?

The interface and public content are published in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Greek and German. Generated documents can additionally follow US or UK English conventions and the right page size for the target job market.
