Run a job-search cohort: one Day 1, weekly releases, checkpoints and group targets
A cohort in JobMentis is a dated run of one of your programs: one shared Day 1, and each week opening at your hour in your time zone. Line people up before anyone is contacted, preview the run, then follow progress, quiet members and CV scores at up to 4 checkpoints.
How it works
Set the program to Cohort
Attach one task pack per week and add checkpoints, surveys and targets.
Create the cohort
Day 1, the hour each week opens, seats, and autopilot or manual delivery.
Line people up and preview
Check every address, then preview every week with its dates and tasks.
Run it
Follow weeks received, tasks done and the members who have gone quiet.
Set the plan once, in the program
The program holds the plan: one task pack per week, your week messages, CV checkpoints, surveys and targets. Every cohort of that program follows it on its own dates, so the next intake needs nothing copied. Duplicating a cohort gives you the next run with the same program, checkpoints and targets, a new Day 1 and nobody in it yet.
Line people up before anyone is contacted
Paste addresses into the line-up: nobody is emailed and no seat is spent. Each address shows whether it already has an account, so a client who signed up with another email is caught before the invitation goes to the wrong one. Press Send invitations when you are ready, after the onboarding call for example. Someone who joins late gets every week already open in one go, with one notification.
Autopilot or manual delivery
On autopilot each week opens by itself on its date, within a couple of minutes of your chosen hour, and stays at that local hour across clock changes. On manual delivery nothing goes out until you send it, and the cohort page shows where the group is and suggests the next week. Either way, "Release now" opens a week early and shows exactly who receives what before you confirm.
CV checkpoints show the change, not just the score
Pick up to 4 weeks, for example week 1 as the baseline, week 4 and week 8. When a checkpoint week opens, each member chooses which CV audit to submit. You see every score and the change from first to last, with a warning when two scores came from different versions of the audit, so the comparison is never presented as like for like when it is not.
Messages, surveys and targets for the group
A week message goes out with that week's tasks; a one-off message goes now or at a time you choose. Each person receives it in a private conversation with their first name filled in, so replies stay one to one. Surveys go out on the week you pick. Group targets, such as fifteen target companies by week 6, are counted from what members actually record: companies and jobs in the tracker, contacts, stories and mock interviews.

FAQ
Questions coaches ask
What does someone who joins in week 3 get?
Every week that has already opened, delivered together with a single notification, plus the latest week message. Group targets apply to late joiners too.
Can I move Day 1 after people have joined?
Yes. Weeks already opened stay opened and the rest move to the new dates. The form shows the new calendar before you save.
I take people on all year round. Do I need cohorts?
No. Use a group or one-to-one program instead: every release then counts from each client's own start date. Cohorts are for programs where everyone moves through together.
Want to see it on your own program?
Bring one program and two or three real clients to a call. We build the first schedule with you and show you what the console would flag this week.
