MCP server for your AI assistant
JobMentis MCP: your career, inside your AI
JobMentis MCP connects the AI assistant you already use, like Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, to your JobMentis account through one address. When you ask, it reads your Career Memory instead of asking again, and saves stories, jobs, contacts and CVs back to JobMentis, checked against your record.

JobMentis remembers, and checks. Your assistant does the talking.
How it works
Connect once, then just ask
You add one address to your assistant and sign in with your JobMentis account. From then on, four things happen when you ask, and you stay in charge of each one.
Connect
One address, then your own sign-in
Add https://www.jobmentis.com/api/mcp to Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any MCP client, and sign in with your JobMentis account. The consent screen names the app and lets you choose: read only, or read and write.

Remember
Career Memory first, so it stops asking
Your assistant reads your Career Memory before it writes: your career history, what your CV shows, the facts you confirmed, your search preferences, your stories and your pitch. It only reads what you ask it to, when you ask.

A story you worked on goes to your Story Bank, a job you mention goes to your tracker, a follow-up goes on the contact in your network. Everything JobMentis does with them afterwards, from interview prep to reminders, picks them up.

Check
Every CV checked before it is saved
When your assistant writes a CV, JobMentis checks it against your master CV first. Changed figures are put back, and claims nothing in your record supports come back as findings to fix. The CV is saved as a new one: your master CV never changes.

Changes to your career history wait for you on JobMentis's review screen: nothing is written until you tick the rows.
Ready-made workflows
Workflows you start from your assistant, like researching a company before you reach out, a tough mock interview, the follow-up memo after an interview, a weekly job search review or an offer negotiation. They run on your own assistant and save what comes out of them to JobMentis.
A job posted by a recruitment agency is filed under the real employer, as everywhere in JobMentis.
Why an assistant connected to JobMentis beats a chatbot on its own
A chatbot on its own forgets you between chats and fills gaps by guessing. Connected to JobMentis, the same assistant starts from your Career Memory, its CVs are checked against your record, and its work stays in your account after the chat ends.
| Topic | A chatbot on its own | Your assistant with JobMentis |
|---|---|---|
| Your background | Asks for your CV again in every chat | Reads your Career Memory, kept up to date in JobMentis |
| Facts and figures | Can invent a number that sounds right | Changed figures are put back from your master CV |
| Unsupported claims | Nobody checks them | Come back as findings to fix before the CV is saved |
| The work it does | Stays in a chat you will not find again | Lands in your Story Bank, tracker, network and CV library |
| Who decides | Whatever the chat says | You: it acts only when you ask, and never applies or sends messages for you |
You decide what your assistant can see and change
Connecting is your choice, made on a JobMentis consent screen that names the app. You can limit it to reading, and you can end it at any time.
Read only, if you prefer
Untick "Let it make changes for you" and your assistant can read but never write. A change needs your read and write choice.
Disconnect at any time
Account > Connected AI apps lists every app you connected. Disconnect ends the connection at once: every call checks it first.
Your assistant is your own
The AI app is yours and is not run by JobMentis. It receives what you ask it to read, so ask it for what you want it to see.
Claims are checked
JobMentis never invents facts. A CV your assistant writes is checked against your master CV before it is saved, and your master CV never changes.

Questions about JobMentis MCP
What is the JobMentis MCP server?
It is a connection between your AI assistant and your JobMentis account, built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard AI apps use to reach other tools. You add one address, https://www.jobmentis.com/api/mcp, and sign in. Your assistant can then read and update your JobMentis data when you ask.
Which AI assistants work with JobMentis?
Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and any other app that supports remote MCP servers. Each one takes the same address. In Claude it goes in Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector; in ChatGPT, in Settings > Apps and connectors > Create.
Can my assistant change things without asking me?
It acts only on what you ask in the chat, and only within the access you gave it. Choose read only on the consent screen and it can never write. It never applies to jobs or sends messages for you, and your master CV is never changed.
Does JobMentis check what my assistant writes?
Yes, for CVs. Before a CV is saved, JobMentis compares it with your master CV: figures your assistant changed are put back, and claims nothing in your record supports come back as findings to fix. The CV is then saved as a new one in your library.
Who can see my data?
Your assistant receives what you ask it to read. The AI app is your own and is not run by JobMentis, so its own privacy terms apply to what it receives. You can disconnect it at any time in Account > Connected AI apps, and the connection ends at once.
Is it free?
Connecting and reading are free with a JobMentis account. JobMentis Pro adds your job matches and higher daily limits for the tools that write.
Your assistant does the talking. JobMentis keeps the record.
