While in the Navy, I learned to not only lead a team but also how to function with them on a personal level. Working in such close quarters with others can really develop one's personal communication with others. The years I spent in the military taught me how to organize, prioritize, and execute assignments accordingly; a skill that has positively affected my life after the military. As a warehouse supervisor, I enhanced my sense of time management and customer service. The experience of working with customers was applied to my time as a member of the work-study program. Now, I am attending CSUDH in pursuit of my BA in Recording Arts, and a Mentorship Coach at Cypress College.
