I became a career coach because I was in a transition and completely unprepared. A stay-at-home mother, my youngest about to enter high school: my “Now what?” hit me hard because I had no idea what I was going to do with my life.

Lacking purpose, in a constant state of anxiety, there were no career coaches to speak to. Motivated to work, I pursued the only way I knew by contacting employment agencies, only to discover I was in the same category as recent college graduates; my options were limited to administrative support because I lacked definable hard skills.
