Allison Docter
Firth, Nebraska, United States
High-quality involvement during my undergraduate career led to an interest in higher education. While pursuing my master's degree in student affairs, I was a graduate assistant at TRIO-Student Support Services as their Tutor Program Coordinator. I was able to supervise and develop tutors, and collaborate with students from minoritized populations who utilized our services and programming. Now, as a Career Coach, I am able to use those relational skills to help students explore their career curiosities and prepare them for their next steps after graduation and transition.Other career goals include publishing a crossword puzzle, baking the perfect croissant, and beating my brother in a timed typing test.
