Ashley Ranasinghe

Aurora, Colorado, United States

My approach to work is unique, blending the worlds of business operations and strategy with the realm of child advocacy and system reform. This dual lens has enabled me to make contributions across various sectors, enhancing organizational growth, supporting individuals, and serving communities. My work is deeply collaborative. As an active member of Colorado’s Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) initiative, the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) for Developmental Pathways, and the Board of Directors for Show & Tell, I partner with state agencies and nonprofits to enhance outcomes for neurodivergent and medically complex children. My focus is on creating sustainable, human-centered systems, where policy, process, and compassion converge. Building on this work, I am developing initiatives to support medically fragile and complex children in foster care and the caregivers who champion them. This effort represents an evolving collaboration with agencies and community partners, and will be shared more publicly in the near future, inviting you to be part of this vital work. Alongside my advocacy and systems work, I serve as a Business Development and Operations Consultant with Kehres Services, a learning and development company specializing in enterprise training and organizational performance. There, I help leadership identify new revenue streams, optimize internal operations, and design scalable solutions for long-term growth. At the intersection of advocacy and operations, I believe in designing systems that work as well for the people running them as for the people they serve. This balanced approach ensures the effectiveness of our work. My current goals include continuing to publish thought-provoking articles on reform, equity, and leadership, as well as amplifying the voices of children, families, and professionals driving real change.
