Bonnie Hart

With over 20 years of diverse professional experience, I serve as the Director of Career Coaching and Readiness at the Community College of Aurora, where I led the creation and launch of the Career Readiness Office. In this role, I design and implement student-centered career development strategies that meet learners where they are and prepare them for today’s workforce. I oversee comprehensive career readiness programming spanning career development, exploration, and employer engagement, including resume and portfolio development, interview and LinkedIn preparation, job search and networking strategies, professionalism training, and Career Launch programming (Certified Facilitator). I also lead experiential initiatives such as Career Expedition, Success Looks Like Me panel presentations, the Don’t Cancel Class initiative, micro-trainings, and management of the Career Closet. In partnership with faculty, staff, and employers, I coordinate STEM and all-industry career fairs and foster cross-campus collaboration. My work is grounded in program research, assessment, and continuous improvement to ensure alignment with labor market needs. I provide personalized 1:1 career advising, helping students translate goals into actionable career pathways, and lead and mentor a growing team of career coaches. Previously, I served as an Academic Advisor in Health Sciences at Pikes Peak State College, conducting program audits and individualized advising. At the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, I completed a practicum at the T. Rowe Price Career and Innovation Center and worked as a Research and Graduate Assistant, supporting career development, program benchmarking, Qualtrics data collection, and IT product development.
