My Classroom Music teaching was strongly based on Kodaly methodology. In addition to classroom music, I served as Choral Music Director for a 4th and 5th Grade Chorus.My best training and experience in children's chorus can be most attributed to my 10 year span in directing children's community chorus, first with the New Orleans Children's Chorus as the training director and later as artistic director of the Northshore Children's Chorus.I also served as Liturgical Music Director of St. Ann Catholic Church in Metairie for 10 1/2 years! It was an honor to serve the people of this parish in the music ministry and directing the adult choir was truly the greatest blessing of all.
