Masters Degree in Counseling from NYU and 25+ years' experience providing career-life coaching and outreach for diverse populations, as well as 9 years of recruiting and sales background. As a former military spouse, I have lived and worked in diverse locations. I’ve worked for nonprofits, state colleges, DoD contract companies, private and public schools, corporate America, and am an entrepreneur. I’ve Worn MANY work uniforms/hats, and maybe I will write a book on that one day... My Career Mission: To help individuals generate more positive experiences for themselves and their greater world. Belief: You can't do it all at once, but if you stay healthy, you can achieve many of your goals in varied aspects of life. Biggest Challenge Working in America: Fulfilling career mission WHILE simultaneously earning a strong living wage within an integrity-based process. I have left many jobs because of this struggle..... BUT it has made me TRULY appreciate the phenomenal jobs I have had and still have! There are tremendous work-life challenges, and some factors we cannot control, but how fortunate we are to have choices. I started my career becoming a community college career counselor for 9 years, which I absolutely loved. I later worked remotely for 9+ years to be an active Mom and SME Career Coach and I career coached others to land their best-fit jobs. I am currently energized by building personalized, solution-focused experiences for others. A grateful spouse and Mom of 2 kind young adults. I love sunshine, movement and downtime w/nature and animals. I welcome connecting to diverse experiences and perspectives!
