Jenny Portalska

I am an Occupational Psychologist and have worked in the field of Talent Assessment and Development for over 20 years. I have a passion for developing initiatives that allow individuals to achieve their potential. I am currently in the Global Career Navigator Team at Latham & Watkins, focusing on developing the careers of our staff through 1:1 coaching and career workshops. The services enhance the professional experiences, development opportunities, and career progression of our staff. Previously, I led a team that designed and delivered a professional development (skills) and corporate engagement curriculum that focused on leadership development. I delivered one-one career transition and development coaching as well as designing and delivering career management and professional development workshops. I have also worked as a training designer and a global recruitment advisor within Professional Services as well as in an international consultancy specialising in the Assessment and Development of individuals. I have worked across both the Public and Private sectors, and have led projects from graduate through to senior management. As well as working as a coach my focus has been on the delivery of assessment and development centres, competency profiling, 360-degree feedback, psychometric feedback as well as other activities such as the design and delivery of training. Throughout my career I have worked across a broad range of sectors, for example legal, recruitment, oil and gas, financial services, telecommunications, and global packaging as well as with a diverse range of roles. I am a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and hold my Level A and Level B Plus Certificates in Occupational Testing and am trained to use a number of psychometrics including: MBTI, Strengthscope (Master Practitioner), PRISM, Wave, OPQ, Dimensions, Career Leader and 16Pf.
