Empowering High School Students to find their Career Path My career quest began with a diploma in marketing and communications, followed by work in PR and then Telecoms. The skills, knowledge and opportunities accumulated along the way resulted in starting and building a national recruitment and training business which was successfully sold. At this point, I moved back to Seychelles after working in London, Europe, and South Africa on a rather adventurous career journey. Only in my forties did I discover my work passion. I am now a UK-registered L7 career guidance practitioner with the CDI (Career Development Institute) specializing in supporting high school students in navigating their academic and career journeys. With a genuine passion for empowering teens and young adults, I enjoy helping key stage 3 and 4 students discover their unique career paths by enabling them to make informed decisions about their future. Through my career work with the Seychelles International School, I have witnessed firsthand their challenges when exploring their career options. I am committed to providing one & one guidance, practical resources, and a supportive environment to help them overcome these hurdles and unlock their true potential. * I offer comprehensive career exploration sessions, helping high school students explore various industries, higher education options, and vocational pathways. * I work closely with students utilizing career assessments, mentorship, and tailored action plans to identify their interests, strengths, and aspirations. I am familiar with both the Cambridge and IB curriculum. Ultimately, I guide them in making well-informed decisions that align with their goals. * I am also a destination specialist for the UK, Europe, Malaysia, and Dubai.
