My super-power is that I can talk to anyone about anything, and sometimes cool things happen based on those conversations! In various roles over the last 15 years, I've worked with students, staff, and faculty on challenges that matter to them and collaborated in ways that built their trust, understanding, and confidence in themselves. As a Career Coach, I use a Life Design framework and my Clifton strengths (Harmony, Restorative, Empathy, Developer, and Learner) to support students in achieving their career goals, whatever those may be. As a safeTALK facilitator, I foster brave and supportive spaces for folks to learn about the reality of suicide in our communities and learn practical tools for noticing and supporting people who are experiencing suicidal thoughts. Lastly, in my previous role as Social Worker & Counsellor (public and private practice), I've worked with individuals across the lifespan on issues ranging from managing anxiety and depression, grief and loss, exploring sexuality and/or gender, and navigating life after various forms of trauma.
