Bottomless Closet is a nonprofit organization whose "mission is to be the connection that inspires and guides disadvantaged New York City women to enter the workforce and achieve success." Volunteering at Bottomless Closet offers me an opportunity to apply my lifelong interest in mentorship and workforce development to the practical task of helping other women enter and succeed in the work place. As a career coach I prepare clients for job interviews through clothing selection, resume editing, and interview practice. As a member of the Volunteer Committee, I train new volunteers and co-host orientation sessions for prospective volunteers. I am able to use my experience in the business world to help others, and I find my work to be very rewarding. My business career was focused on helping organizations plan and execute IT strategies. I have expertise in managing infrastructure and internet related projects, as well as extensive background in process management and service delivery. Strengths include strategic planning, budgeting, vendor relations, team building and change management.
