The future of a population's health in strongly determined by the food we consume. In the United States, five of our top ten leading causes of death are preventable through proper nutrition and exercise. I am passionate about teaching communities, especially our most vulnerable, how to live healthier lives. Creating outreach programs that specifically target the particular struggles a community faces can monumentally change the health outcomes of that population. I want to work with community leaders, to be a resource for them, not just to aid the health of the population, but to aid the generations to come.
