I'm a Certified Career Coach apprentice and former elementary educator with 5 years of experience supporting students through academic, career, and post-secondary planning, while also prioritizing social-emotional wellbeing. I currently work as a Career Coach at Poolesville High School with WorkSource Montgomery, where I design and deliver career exploration programming that helps students build practical skills and make informed decisions about life after high school. My background as an elementary educator shapes my approach to career coaching: student-centered, data-informed, and equity-driven. I've led classroom-based career sessions for 1,000+ students, facilitated individual and small-group coaching using RIASEC and dialogic models, and coordinated career events connecting students with industry professionals, internships, and real-world opportunities. I also bring experience mentoring staff and new career coaches, managing programs and events, and building strong relationships with families and community partners. Supporting students' confidence, self-awareness, and emotional readiness is central to my work, especially when navigating high-stakes decisions about their futures.
