I discovered the magic of coaching in my previous career, where I spent 20 years working in Marketing Management and Operational roles. During this time, I found coaching people in my team the most fulfilling part of my job. In fact, I was also a Coaching Trainer for other managers in the organization. It was so rewarding to provide them with the tools to take a different approach with their teams. I noticed that when an individual is able to spend one hour a week focusing on what they really want and how they can move towards it, it can be truly life-changing. In 2011, I had an opportunity to change the direction of my life, and relocated with my family from the UK to the USA. During this time, I made space in my life to focus on personal well-being and work/life balance. I spent time studying the art of coaching and completed a formal qualification with the Coaching Academy in London. I also took a course with the Stress Management Consultancy (UK). I was fortunate to become connected with the Summit Center Psychology practice in Walnut Creek. Whilst working with Summit Center staff, I have been able to continue learning and growing as a person. I have learned about the amazing strengths of individuals with learning differences and sensitivities which can be linked to neurodiversity. It has enhanced my abilities and intuitive skills as a coach. I am forever grateful that my path crossed with Summit Center. During my coaching sessions with clients, I strive to create an open and trusting relationship to collaboratively work through life challenges, uncover strengths, building on ways to live a more fulfilling life. I hope this gives you a sense of who I am. I have been told that I am warm, calm, and easy to build a rapport with. As well as working with clients in the USA, I coach clients in various time zones, including the UK.
