Hillary Ojiambo

As a Career Coach and a soft skills trainer, I empower individuals—especially youth and early-career professionals—to make informed, values-driven decisions about their education and career paths. I combine coaching, mentorship, program design, and content creation to drive long-term impact. At Hatua Network, I lead the Alumni Department, where I support over 200 alumni with tailored career guidance and transition support. My work includes managing alumni engagement, developing customized alumni programs, leading programs implementation and creating sessions on CV writing, job search skills, interview preparation, digital skills, discovering your passion, and workplace readiness. I also offer one-on-one coaching, helping job seekers build confidence, define their personal brand, and approach the job market strategically. I run mock interviews, facilitate exposure to employers, and guide high school graduates in discovering their passions and selecting university courses aligned with their strengths. My core success metric is achieving a 95% transition rate from university to employment within one year of graduation—a goal I actively track and work toward through structured programming and ongoing alumni support. My mission is clear: to connect potential with opportunity and to champion lifelong career development for the next generation of professionals. In the end, I believe, what will matter is how many lives we shaped, to meet their destinies, achieve their potential and become who they were meant to be.
