Susan Pierce

I’m a career coach and academic advisor dedicated to empowering students through personalized guidance, resource connection, and holistic support. In my current role with Central Oregon Community College’s Inclusive Career Advancement Program (ICAP), I help diverse learners navigate academic, career, and personal pathways from exploration to completion — always with an eye toward equity and inclusion. My work centers on creating supportive environments where students can identify their goals, overcome barriers, and develop confidence in their next steps. I combine strong academic advising and career coaching skills with a collaborative, student-first approach that integrates campus and community partnerships to ensure wrap-around support. With experience spanning veterans’ services, academic advising, and small business ownership, I bring empathy, resourcefulness, and organizational skill to every interaction. I’m passionate about expanding access to education and helping students find purpose and success — both in college and beyond.
