COMMUNITY COLLEGE:accountable for the college-wide collaboration, development and implementation of an overarching strategic plan that aims to improve the student retention and graduation rates, with particular attention to "at risk" students.Successfully launched innovative Single Stop USA Program to support low income student population. Collaborate and network with community partners to extend breadth of services to increase retention and success of students.Redeveloped nationally recognized Career Center Program , assisting current and perspective students with identifying and exploring academic and career goals. Created and facilitated a variety of on going career development workshops. NON PROFIT:Supported individuals that have multiple barriers to obtaining employment that include: Homelessness, physical and/or mental disabilities, ex-offender status, as well as individuals in recovery to secure gainful employment and stable housing through collaboration of internal departments and referrals to community partners. Served in the capacity of site manager for the North Cities One Stop supervising a Workforce Development team of 15 individuals (case managers/employment specialists).WORKSHOP FACILITATOR:Global Career Development Facilitator Instructor-Coordinator through East Bay Works System Utilizing competencies in Career Development- instruct Career Development Professionals on how to become more well rounded and customer focused.Presenter of Job Readiness Workshops to include Job Search Techniques, Resume Writing, and Interviewing SkillsGRIEF & LOSS-Certified Grief Educator with personal lived experiences with loss, helping individuals navigate the complex emotions and challenges associated with loss and grief. Teaching clients creative and personalized tools and strategies to cope with their grief and explore ways to honor their loved ones.
