I am enthusiastic about creating a positive, enriching environment for postdocs and grad students to explore career options, enhance their professional development, and succeed in their job search. As a consultant, I provide each partnering university, professional society or nonprofit with a collaborative and customized approach to meet their training goals. As a career coach, I provide each coaching client with tailored information to help them move forward strategically and intentionally. I have 12+ years of experience developing and implementing career and professional development programming through administrative roles at the University of South Florida, MD Anderson Cancer Center and Moffitt Cancer Center, as well as Coach4Postdocs, a private coaching and consultancy, executive coaching for STEMPeers, service on the Boards of Directors of STEMPeers and the National Postdoctoral Association. Through these roles, I have developed expertise in advocacy and policy, mentoring and coaching, resource development, innovative problem-solving, and oral and written communication. I am recognized for my ability to think analytically, exceed goals, persuade and influence others, and develop effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and co-workers. I have proven success in identifying and developing initiatives to improve postdoctoral development in alignment with mission and values both locally and nationally.
