Mary Unverferth

As a motivated, passionate, and determined Career Coach and Psychotherapist, I am dedicated to working with individuals to unlock their untapped potential and actualize both short and long-term goals. I work in two settings, in higher education and private practice, working with all my clients to improve their overall well-being. After receiving a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the George Washington University, I chose to apply my rigorous clinical training in a higher-education setting. Previously employed by Georgetown University, the University of Houston, and the Catholic University of America in The Busch School of Business, I have had the privilege of working closely with countless individuals who seek out career services and now offer private coaching through Renovaris, LLC. By providing interview-skills training, professional development workshops, and numerous one-on-one career counseling appointments, I strive to encourage individuals to achieve their highest potential and set achievable goals. I work closely with all my clients to enable them to think deeply about their purpose, interests, skills, and values and how these relate to a career. Further, I work with clients to provide mental health services at a practice in Dupont called Rock Creek Therapy. I strive to view each person as a whole person and accompany them in their journey wherever they may be. Whether it be meticulously editing a resume for the ninth time or helping my clients grow in therapy, I love what I do.
