“Get a good job after college” was what I was taught. So I got one.
But after a year of feeling unfulfilled at my corporate job, I looked for literally anything else in any place. I landed upon a startup without prestige and national brand recognition (at least yet) but individuals with passion, diligence, camaraderie, and willingness to fail and get back up.
