With more than 15 years of career coaching experience under his belt, Noel is a Principal Career Coach overseeing a team of Career Coaches with the Workforce Singapore Agency (WSG). Prior to that, Noel held the appointment of a Centre Manager, overseeing Career Centre operations and working closely with key community stakeholders and partners such as Grassroots Leaders, Voluntary Welfare Organisations and help agencies in rendering holistic assistance to clients. Noel is a certified Job and Career Transition Coach (JCTC) and is a WSQ certified ACTA facilitator. He is also a certified Myer Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner . Noel has a Masters in Counselling from Monash University and a Bachelor of Arts (Social Work) from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He started his career as a Social Worker in a Family Service Centre (FSC), rendering assistance to individuals in need and families in crisis. The accumulated work experiences from his 4 years tenure at the FSC provided Noel a firm grounding in case work management and counselling skills, which he successfully ported seamlessly to his work as a WSG Career Coach. As a Career Coach, Noel had worked extensively with a diverse spectrum of clients, with a focus on enhancing their employability, whilst providing support and counsel to them. Noel had also initiated a series of group work facilitation sessions for PMETs as early as 2010 and was part of a team that developed a profiling tool to assess the employability of job seekers which today forms the basis of assessments for clients today.
