I am all about the "what" and "why" because understanding what makes us tick AND why we do what we do is essential to fulfilling our vocation.Throughout my life, I've felt the power of guidance and encouragement from trusted mentors. They've walked me through the "what" and "why" through seasons I've thrived in and seasons I've struggled in. They are the reason I work with college students who are in the midst of discovering their "whats" and "whys".I serve students with a task-oriented work ethic, a desire to simplify and clarify processes, and a dedication to helping students develop relationships. I hope students will be filled with the courage, confidence, and conviction to live out who they are called to be in the next season of their life.

My ideal client is ready for change. They have a growth mindset and are ready to take the wheel of their life and start creating a life they love. They are sick of being a passenger in thier own life.

I serve as a Career Coach and Employer Relations Specialist at the Calvin University Career Center, where I work closely with students as they explore what’s next and begin turning ideas into direction. I enjoy helping students identify opportunities that align with who they are and what they’re working toward—and connecting them with employers who are eager to invest in early talent. One of the most meaningful parts of my role is leading the Career Exploration Program. Watching students gain clarity through hands-on experiences and real conversations is incredibly rewarding, and it reinforces my belief that career development is as much about relationships as it is about resumes. If you’re a recruiter or hiring manager interested in engaging with students from Calvin’s School of Business, I’d be glad to connect and explore ways we can work together.

I came on board at Prichard Preparatory School in 2019. Prichard Prep is a private, non-profit, college preparatory elementary school serving mainly low and low-to-moderate income families. I love that at Prichard Prep, I get to be a part of something bigger than myself. As Director of Development, I work with families to secure scholarships for their student to continue their education at college preparatory middle and high schools. I also foster community relationships and fundraise through grants and donations so that Prichard Preparatory School can continue to educate students academically, spiritually, and culturally. Outside of work, I enjoy vintage shopping and exploring the Eastern Shore with my husband. We are both passionate about the next generation, and serve as mentors to middle and high school students in our community.
