Ie University
Madrid, Spain
I never planned to forge a new life in a completely new country. My original career path was to become a Spanish teacher in the United States, inspired by my passion for language, literature, and education. But after just two weeks of studying abroad in Madrid, I realized this city was my calling. Determined to return, I extended my exchange to a full year, finished my degree back home, saved up, and came back to Spain. I then spent six years teaching English as a foreign language. That experience not only deepened my love for education, but also taught me how to adapt, connect across cultures, and help others grow and achieve their goals. As many international professionals know, visas and work authorization can be complex and challening. Those obstacles eventually pushed me to reinvent my career. It’s a decision that I’m deeply grateful for. Today at IE University, I continue to work in education, helping students bridge the gap between the academic sphere and the professional world, guiding them toward meaningful opportunities and long-term success. I love working with my team and managing projects. I excel in student facing roles and empowering the next generation of leaders. I’m passionate about higher education, career development, and career coaching.

Developing Finnish food tourism, Finnish, new, unconvential luxury, teaching, coaching students and entrepreneurs. I am skilled researcher, developer and coach. I think bravely and curiously. I perceive life visually but in the same time in a very logical manner. Best solutions are made by creative thinking with trust in a super versatile team where responsibility is divided. Positiveness has hardly ever lead to poor results. Let's laugh - it makes life worth to experience.“Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.” ― Roy T. Bennett

I am an Executive Coach and Strategic Advisor who helps leaders navigate complexity with clarity. The problems I solve are often the same across sectors. Attrition is rising. AI is changing how work is delivered. Policies are written but not lived. Leaders are under pressure to deliver results while keeping their organisations aligned. What I do is create the conditions for leaders and boards to act decisively. Through coaching, I give senior leaders space to think, test assumptions and commit to next steps. Through strategic advisory, I work with organisations to align people, systems and culture so that leadership intent holds up in practice, stands up to scrutiny and sustains change. My perspective comes from more than ten years of coaching, senior roles in public services and global firms, and board-level experience with Goldsmiths University and the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Governance and Inclusive Leadership. I am the author of Lead How You Want to Be Led and a regular voice in publications and conferences where I encourage leaders to rethink how they show up in today’s workplace. If you are leading at senior level and want support that is both practical and strategic, let us connect. coach.ireneadeyinka@gmail.com www.ireneadeyinka.com
