At some point in most careers, “what’s next?” becomes more than a passing thought. That’s where I come in. I’m a Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) and Career Transition Coach, and I help professionals navigate career change with clarity, confidence, and intention—whether that means growing internally, making a strategic pivot, or figuring things out after job loss. I work with people across roles, industries, and sectors, including public, private, and non-profit organizations. Mid-career, senior-level, newcomers to Canada, career changers—if you’re thinking about your next move, you’re in the right place. What sets my coaching apart is my background. Before coaching, I spent over 20 years in recruitment, talent acquisition, and HR, working with hundreds of hiring managers and organizations—from boutique firms to large global companies. I understand how hiring really works, what decision-makers look for, and how to position experience in a way that actually lands. I specialize in career transitions, internal mobility, outplacement, and career pivots, supporting clients with career decision-making, job search strategy, resumes, LinkedIn profiles, networking, and interview prep. I also help clients use AI tools in practical ways to make the process easier and less overwhelming. I bring lived experience to this work. I’ve been through career changes myself, including unexpected job loss and outplacement. I’ve had a coach. I know what it feels like. That’s why my approach is supportive, realistic, and never cookie-cutter. No pressure. No judgment. In addition to one-on-one coaching, I design and deliver engaging webinars and group coaching on career topics like personal branding, networking, LinkedIn, and job search strategy. My style is practical, conversational, and easy to follow—more real talk, less lecture. I genuinely love this work. Helping people find clarity, regain confidence, and make thoughtful career decisions is what I do best. Let’

Having been retrenched a number of times, and unemployed a couple more times as well, I understand what it feels like to have shoe leather on pavement. Because of this, my approach to supporting individuals in transition is pragmatic - if it works, keep doing it; and if it doesn't, explore alternatives.I still clearly remember my first redundancy, even though that was almost 30 years ago. The emotional roller coaster was quite unsettling and caused me distress until I learned this was normal. It's shaped my response to how I behave in my first meeting with a new participant. I always ask "how are you feeling" and base the initial conversation and support on that response. There is no such thing as "one size fits all"! Support programs must be tailored to meet the current and emerging needs of an individual. It's my role to make sure that happens and to assist my participants to build a foundation that leads to success. While it might sound corny, I love it when someone I've worked with gets to implement their preferred outcome. I'm almost as excited as they are.
