Clients often come to me with the following questions: I am no longer fulfilled in my current role. I want to make a change but how do I work out what else I can do and how do I make the change? How can I actively manage and develop my career to ensure it progresses in the right way for me? I am soon going on maternity leave and feeling unsure about my options and whether I can achieve the right balance for me. How can I plan for a successful transition to and from maternity leave? I have taken an extended career break and am thinking about returning to work but how do I get started? I am going through a redundancy process. How can I get clarity on what I want to do next and what steps do I need to take to move towards securing the right role for me? I am a Licensed Career Coach and Member of the Association of Coaching, an MCIPD qualified HR professional and studied Psychology at degree level. I have 8 years’ experience as a Career Coach and over 15 years of HR experience in both the Not for Profit and Private Sectors. I gained my Career Coaching license with Career Counselling Services (affiliated with the Association of Coaching) and set up WrightCareer in 2015. I now deliver individual career coaching to a wide range of clients and work as a Client Relationship Manager, Associate Coach and Course Tutor for Career Counselling Services (http://www.career-counselling-services.co.uk/) where I provide career coach training, coaching and career management to individuals and employers. In addition, I work as an Associate Career Coach for The Maternity Coach (http://thematernitycoach.co.uk) providing coaching support to individuals and groups prior to, during and following their maternity leave and have worked as both the lead for 1:1 coaching and delivered over 60 career returner workshops at Women Returners (https://womenreturners.com/). I feel passionate that people should be given the support to recognise their potential, build their confidence, gain clarity o

Hi there! I'm Sarah, a career coach and CV/resume writer, curious inquisitor, and superb storyteller. I've helped and written resumes, CVs, and cover letters for all levels of professionals, from interns to C-suite executives, from around the world and across industries. I love meeting new people, learning about their stories, and helping them write it so that companies can imagine them being the main character in theirs. In addition to my innate abilities, I am well aware of how to craft the best resume to surpass the ATS system. I was trained and mentored by a career coach who has written well over 100 resumes for professionals across multiple industries, and I am knowledgeable in writing the most ATS compliant and optimized resume. I know the best ones are simple, easy to read, and they just work. Not only am I skilled, but speedy. Under time constraints, I can get a resume back to you, given I have the right information gotten through real, in-depth conversation, within half a day. From tripling someone's call backs to most recently helping a woman land an interview with the same resume I wrote her from scratch within 6 hours of the same day, I can say with confidence that my work yields results. And isn't that exactly what you need? Take a chance on me, so I can give you the best chance of landing the role of your dreams. Feel free to reach out for a coffee chat or if you're interested in having a resume/career coaching consultation! And if you're sending me a connection request, please add a personalized note :)
