What I did: For more than 25 years, I led teams, built service cultures, and operated in high-pressure, people-facing environments across Canada. From hospitality leadership to post-secondary teaching, my work centred on performance, accountability, and what it takes to lead when stakes are real. Along the way, I co-created Restaurant Leadership 101, a program bridging technical skill with emotional intelligence, and served as a Professor at Fanshawe College and Centennial College, teaching Leadership, Ethics & Diversity, Personal Wellness, and Operations Management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I’ve spoken at industry events including the RC Show (Toronto), Bar & Restaurant Expo (Las Vegas), NEXT Food Expo (Calgary), and the New York Restaurant Show. Across every role and setting, one truth stayed constant: the work was never just operational — it was human. What I do now: I’m the founder of TMG Career Coaching, where I work with professionals who look successful on paper but feel misaligned inside. People who’ve outgrown their path and know it’s time for clarity, alignment, and more intentional career decisions. My work focuses on identity, values alignment, emotional maturity, and grounded strategy — not quick fixes or surface-level advice. I help people reconnect with who they are, make confident decisions, and build careers that actually fit the person they’ve become. Different industries. Same work. It’s always about people.
