Dušica Božović

I’m a teacher by background, but along the way I found myself in career development. It turned out to be a great way to combine my love for education with helping people move forward in their careers.Right now, I work with the SIMHE team at Metropolia (Supporting Immigrants in Higher Education), where I coach highly educated immigrants and guide them toward study and career opportunities.Before that, I was part of the International Talent Employment Service at the City of Helsinki, where I worked directly with jobseekers and partnered with companies interested in global talent.My roots are in pedagogy, and I’ve taught at different levels, from primary school to university. I’ve also coordinated projects in NGOs, which gave me experience in leading initiatives, organizing events, and building networks.What drives me is connecting people and finding practical ways to make services work better for everyone.
