Jimmy Truong

As the child of two Vietnamese immigrants, I have always been a go-getter, even if it means trailblazing new opportunities for myself. Transitioning from Hastings to Lincoln, Nebraska, my ambition for growth has only expanded. It is here at UNL that I have leaned into my personal identity and represent those who have come before me. On campus, I prioritize representation and communication to demonstrate leadership. I am currently the president of the First Generation student organization and VP of Chapter Operations for Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity. I have also recently finished a summer welcoming the class of 2029 as a UNL orientation leader this summer. As it stands, I'm not set on one path for my professional career. I hope to leverage my ability in supply chain management and my keen eye for fashion. With the leverage provided by my experiences, I hope to adapt and maximize every future opportunity.
