A Career Practitioner for Nanyang Technological University's School of Humanities and School of Art, Design & Media, I am passionate about guiding undergraduates on their journey to meaningful and fulfilling careers. I have been practising career coaching across the Public Service and Non-Profit sectors since 2005, progressing to management roles where I led teams varying from 6 to 25 staffs. I have over 20 years of professional experience include navigating organizational transformations and spearheading diverse portfolios such as career center operations, industry and manpower development, event management, stakeholder engagement, and establishing teams for data analysis and reporting.Stephen Covey’s principle, “Begin with the End in Mind,” underpins my coaching philosophy. I believe that a clear career goal drives purpose and persistence. I facilitate career exploration and discovery through personalized one-on-one coaching, interactive group workshops, and webinars designed to engage and empower. Beyond coaching, I curate online career skills content and manage a Telegram channel featuring Career & Internship Resources for my Humanities students, ensuring students access timely, actionable advice on resumes, interviews, and LinkedIn optimization. Some of my students nicknamed me "Job Board" as I often shared internship/ career opportunities with them to help them explore roles beyond their traditional career pathways where they can rely on the various skills and competencies attained through their 4 years in NTU.
