I'm an ICF Certified Executive, Career, and Well-being Coach, Facilitator, and founder of Kelly Brown Coaching, LLC. I partner with professionals at all levels and working parents to help them navigate their lives and careers with confidence and clarity. Many clients come to me feeling stuck and/or in need of a new role. Some feel certain they need a change and others feel unsure whether to stay in their current role, make changes within their company, or explore entirely new options. I believe that career, life, and well-being are deeply integrated, which is why I work holistically with executives, working parents, and those in career transition to create lives and careers full of meaning, success, and joy. My coaching style is most often described as warm, effective, and life-changing and my group facilitation techniques are inclusive and customized to meet the needs of the group members. Besides my private practice, I'm proud to partner with organizations like the University of California, Berkeley as a contract Faculty Coach and with Parentaly as a Career Coach where I facilitate workshops, teach coaching skills, and coach parents through taking a parental leave without career disruption. I've been coaching working parents and professionals at all levels, including senior executives, both individually and in groups since 2014. My coaching approach is informed by certifications from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute, plus my credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). As a certified Be Body Positive Facilitator, I'm committed to providing a safe coaching space for everyone. My corporate background includes roles as an Account Executive at Google and in customized Executive Education at Duke Corporate Education. These experiences give me real-world insight into the challenges my clients face. I'm a graduate of Duke University with degrees in Psychology, Business, and Spanish. Though I've

Leadership abilities are important the workplace, in my workplace I display good communication skills. I will communicate with my clients, coworkers and supervisors because this is our team and no leader can work alone. I lead by asking everyone’s feedback on situations and issues that surround the job. My attitude is positive and has to stay so that everyone could view me as authentic and can openly come to me for help or feed back. For me to be authentic and self disclose to my clients this builds a positive relationship with them and it shows that I am a leader because I can talk about the many ways I have grown and they can follow to do the same. Motivation and empowerment is the most important thing that I display as a leader to others as well. When I am communicating with clients I am motivating them to do well and to think positive as we go on job searches and job interviews because there is hope and we will find employment. I encourage them to never give up no matter how many doors are shut, we are going top find the right job made for you. In my job, as a career coach it is challenging but if we stay focused on the end result we will be satisfied in the end. When I express my how much I care to my clients that they are important to me and the most important thing is finding them employment the clients become more involved and will open up and participate with me because at this point they can trust me. I I would honestly say that encouragement and honesty are two main elements in building relationships and all leaders should have these skills. I am honest leader because I am straight forward with my client and coworkers, and supervisors. I try not to beat around the bush with anyone because this gives others room for assumptions and their own decision making on my part. As a leader I feel that inspiring others opens the relationship up for trust and the people around will become more involved. Specialties: Many of my clients have suffered with domestic vio
