Dennis has been working in the IT industry for more than 20 years, from supporting end-users to IT consultancy in the Asia Pacific region. All these years, he has been coaching, mentoring and training working professionals, both as part of his professional work and as part of his personal interests too.
Back in 2015, he started to volunteer in a social enterprise that helped to mentor and coach experienced PMEs (Professionals, Managers & Executives). The programme helped displaced PMEs get back on their feet and to regain their self confidence. Through the volunteer work, Dennis felt a calling and took up a full time coaching career instead and is now with Workforce Singapore (WSG).
Dennis Chan is a Principal Career Coach (lead) at Workforce Singapore, a government administration body. He coaches professionals in the government and non-profit sectors in English. Chan holds an Advanced Practitioner certification in Hope Action Theory and Practice and is certified in Catalyst Career Discovery.
