I became a career coach because I was in a transition and completely unprepared. A stay-at-home mother, my youngest about to enter high school: my “Now what?” hit me hard because I had no idea what I was going to do with my life. Lacking purpose, in a constant state of anxiety, there were no career coaches to speak to. Motivated to work, I pursued the only way I knew by contacting employment agencies, only to discover I was in the same category as recent college graduates; my options were limited to administrative support because I lacked definable hard skills. I deferred graduate school to work, and then I became a multi-tasking mother. When I wanted to jump back in, I felt I was in a job search going nowhere, and I didn’t know who I was. I also discovered I am really not the corporate type. So, what type was I, and why did my options seem so limited? I applied and was accepted into the College Counseling and Student Development program at Hunter College on a whim. I decided to design my learning curriculum and was drawn to Career Development. The coaching industry was emerging, and I had the remarkable fortune of finding Barry Lustig, a walking encyclopedia of everything career coaching. Insights from my MBTI results led me to clarity, focus, and purpose at last. Fast forward 23 amazing years, and I’ve had the pleasure of working with thousands of people who needed clarity and my help identifying career drivers, aligning values, and interviewing well. I introduce my clients to their remarkable self. I help them stop circling and show them how to stand out get on that path of professional success. * “Gladys Kartin is a fantastic, knowledgeable, intuitive career coach. She asked me to take a 'good look at myself.” * “Gladys is an excellent career coach. She was able to get to the crux of my message in just a few minutes of conversation.” * “She helped me think about interviewing in a new way that truly inspired confidence...and ultimately got me the

Does this sound familiar? Your son is starting to date and shadchanim are asking for his “plan.” He says “Don’t worry about it, I can always go into real estate. Or nursing home management. Or start a business.” Your daughter is finishing seminary and there’s a pile of pamphlets on the kitchen table. Social work. ABA therapy. Speech pathology. Graphic design. Computer science. “Ok… let’s pick one.” Or how about this one: Your Kollel journey is coming to a close. With four kids, income needs to happen - soon. Options include: -Take the first job opening you see. -Join the family business. -College or bootcamp. What’s the right move? These decisions aren’t small. And they don’t just affect the next year - they shape your family’s future. That’s where I come in. I work with frum adults ages 18-30 to help them uncover their innate talents, work style, and strength, and translate these into a realistic, practical career direction. It’s not a personality test or career “quiz”. The HAB is an evidence-based aptitude assessment used by hundreds of thousands to discover how they are hardwired to think, work, solve problems, and which environments they’ll thrive in. You can’t study for it, and you can’t flunk it. The value is in the analysis and interpretation, connecting the information to real-life options and next steps. Why work with me? I’ve been in the career development “business” for a long time. Over 20 years experience helping people get on the right career track. 12+ years in a non-profit career department, and the past 7 in career aptitude testing and career coaching. To date, I’ve completed 500+ career aptitude test debriefs and worked with thousands. I know the frum job world, the pressures around parnassah, and the “everyone is doing it” mentality that can be disastrous. When my clients make their decision, they do so with CLARITY. CLARITY about where to invest time, money, and effort. CLARITY that the decision is made with a thoughtful,
