Hey there! I'm Brandi. I’m the founding coach and owner of Talent Career Coaching, a working mom, a dog owner to the cutest therapy dog around, and a lover of coffee - iced only, please! Before starting my business, I spent over a decade building, training, and leading high-performing teams in the financial services and sports industries. Here’s the thing: most people spend the majority of their lives at work. That’s a lot of time! The workplace has a huge influence on our day-to-day lives, from the way we show up in our relationships with friends/family to how we feel about ourselves. When we’re fulfilled in our careers, it has a ripple effect on every other area of our lives. That’s why I’m so passionate about helping people create careers that truly align with who they are and what they value. But I’ll be honest: my own career journey wasn’t always smooth. After graduating from college, I landed my first corporate role. I loved my coworkers, had a bright career path in front of me, and was constantly challenged. And yet, something felt off. I wasn’t helping people in a way that truly fulfilled me, and I found myself torn between success and passion. So, I started searching. Over 250 job applications (and a lot of trial and error!) later, I found a role in HR that finally aligned with my values and allowed me to mentor others. That job became a stepping stone to my true calling—career coaching—and now, I get to help others create the kind of clarity I wish I’d had earlier in my own journey. I know firsthand how hard it can be to find your place when you don’t fit the “traditional mold.” As the daughter of a truck driver and a grocery store worker, I struggled to fit in during college and even more so when I entered the white-collar corporate world. Imposter syndrome was a constant battle, but here’s what I’ve learned: the world needs what YOU bring to the table.
