Before I became a career coach, I spent over 25 years in senior roles at international companies. I know how organisations think, how hiring decisions really get made, and what separates the candidates who succeed from those who don’t. I founded Micklewright Careers in 2002. Since then, I’ve worked one-to-one with hundreds of professionals and graduates taking their first steps, managers ready for advancement, and senior executives navigating redundancy, and everything in between across the UK, continental Europe, Asia- Pacific and the United States. What I offer is different from most coaching practices in two important ways. First, I bring genuine commercial credibility. I’ve sat on the other side of that interview table. I don’t coach from theory, I coach from experience. Second, I stay with my clients. Most programmes have a fixed endpoint. Mine don’t. Many of my clients have worked with me for years, calling on me as a sounding board, a mentor, and a trusted advisor long after they’ve landed the role.
